Synopsis

EN / Mourit, André, Vincent and Joe are great leaders of the Lions Club, among them one is white. The director follows them in Benin and in Brazzaville in their clubs monitoring meetings. They occupy much of the good payment of dues to the strict observance of the protocol, the singing of the hymn, the uniforms. What is emerging through its meetings is the extraordinary motivation within the African Continent clubs. The goal is to become a continent Independent in the Lions Club International, by dispensing with the Indian and Lebanese guardianship, for that you need to recruit more members. This voluntary action becomes a national and pan-African challenge for African Lions are also economic and political actors in the foreground.

FR / Mourit, André, Vincent et Joe sont de grands leaders du Lions Club, parmi eux un seul est blanc. Le réalisateur les suit au Bénin et à Brazzaville lors de leurs réunions de contrôle des clubs. Ils s’occupent autant du bon règlement des cotisations qu’au respect strict du protocole, du chant de l’hymne, du port de l’uniforme. Ce qui se dessine à travers ces réunions c’est la motivation extraordinaire au sein des clubs du Continent Africain. Le but est de devenir un continent Indépendant au sein du Lions Club International, en s’affranchissant de la tutelle Indienne et Libanaise, pour cela il faut recruter encore plus de membres. Ce combat associatif devient un enjeu national et panafricain car les Lions Africains sont aussi des acteurs économiques et politiques de premier plan.
